About a year ago, World Scientific Singapore approached me to write an English adaptation of the Chinese classic, Journey to the West, for children aged 7-10 years old. After many months of reading, research, writing, revising and working with the illustrator, the first of three volumes is almost ready to greet the world! This is part of the Pop! Lit for Kids series which includes titles of Asian classics like The Malay Annals and Ramayana and Western classics like Sherlock Holmes, Around the World in Eighty Days and Robin Hood.
